First performance - the moment of birth. Was BBA. Born Before Arrival (of midwife). Arrived onto the hospital bed solely by my own exertions and those of my mother - who loved me then and for the next fifty years.

At age seven spoke at uncle's wedding on behalf of the family, my father's cleft pallet inhibiting him; and performed in Life Boys play.

Did gymnastic and marching drill performances in Boy's Brigade. Acted in school and university productions.

In Belfast street theatre experiments in 1970's, including improvised clowning. Abstract avant-garde street performance with Dave Irving. Individual experimental performances 1980, Kassel, Germany. Performance Art with Angela McCabe, 1982.

First major solo performance art performance, during drama therapy summer school at College of Ripon and York St. John. (involved flagellation) 1983. Toxic Theatre community action performances 1991-1999. Walkabout theatre with Ridiculusmus, including Exeter Art Festival 1997. In Derry, many years of Action Theatre including conference performances and combining it with Playback Theatre. Circa 1990 - 2004 Invisible theatre and Forum Theatre tuition and performance. Performance in Dublin Civic Art gallery, the Hugh Lane. Bbeyond bus run Derry performance."What Would You Do For A Bap?" 2005 Bbeyond monthlies, most often in Belfast, since 2005.

Found voice around this time, during Blue Bag City street theatre series. Five years weekly open mic sound poetry, 2005-2011. One of a group representing Bbeyond at Bergen Arts festival, Norway. Developed voice, music and sound performances, including typewriter experiments with Caroline Murphy. Vocal word play duets with Rory McSwiggan. Death by Casio experimental performances of voice, saxophone and synthesiser, with Rory Moore. 2010-2011. Dance performance, "The Chess Piece" with Echo Echo dance, 2010 and 2011 Performance with Grace Schwindt at Void Gallery, Derry, June 2012, Purple Ribbon. Individual durational voice and walkabout performance series on Derry's walls and at Ebrington Square 2011-2012.
